FNE Clinical Trainings with Forensic Training Associates (FTAs)

Content of Training will be skills training with live models, Forensic Training Assistants (FTA), to learn and practice:

• Interacting with a sexual assault patient utilizing trauma-informed language
• Various patient positioning for exam 
• Vaginal exam techniques including separation and traction, hymenal tracing, and identifying vaginal structures
• Inserting speculums into the vagina, locating the cervix, and collecting vaginal swabs
• Conducting a head-to-toe medical forensic evidence collection examination

• Fee: $150/person
• Lunch is included with the registration fee.
