Help make Maryland a state free of sexual violence. We still have far to go:
Protections are being eroded for college sexual assault survivors
Rapists still have full parental rights to the children they conceive through rape
Communities need support to prevent sexual assault
There is work to be done. Please join MCASA for this year's Legislative Reception. Each year, the Maryland Coalition Against Sexual Assault (MCASA) holds a Legislative Reception in Annapolis to share information about Maryland's response to sexual violence, MCASA, and rape crisis centers throughout the state. Help us honor three outstanding Marylanders who demonstrate exemplary leadership and compassion through their commitment to ending sexual violence in Maryland. The 2018 MCASA Visionary Award Recipients are:
Delegate Kathleen M. Dumais
VIce-Chair, House Judiciary Committee
Daphnee Kelly
Survivor and Advocate
Daniel A. Katz, Esquire
Gilbert Employment Law
Tickets for the event are $45 for MCASA Members, $60 for Non-Members, and free for Legislators. To reserve your space for the event, please click here.
