SUPPORT HB1 - Maryland Healthy Working Families Act

Each year across the nation, victims of domestic violence and sexual assault are forced to miss nearly eight million days of paid work. The loss of employment can be particularly devastating for domestic violence and sexual assault survivors because they often need financial security to ensure their safety and the safety of their children. Earned paid sick days would help provide that security. Please call your delegates TODAY and tell them to SUPPORT HB1- Maryland Healthy Working Families Act. You can find your delegate here.  To learn more about MCASA's 2017 legislative agenda and how you can help, visithttp://www.mcasa.org/law-public-policy/legislative-agenda/. Thank you for your activism and support for sexual assault survivors. We must continue to speak up and speak out. Lisae Lisae C. Jordan Executive Director and Counsel
