Mission & Work

The Maryland Coalition Against Sexual Assault is the federally recognized state sexual assault coalition.  Its core membership are the 17 state rape crisis and recovery centers.  Our mission is to help prevent sexual assault, advocate for accessible, compassionate care for survivors of sexual violence, and work to hold offenders accountable.

Racial Justice

MCASA stands in support of the Black Lives Matter movement and its mission to change the course of history and create a just future free of racism. We denounce racism in all its forms - both overt and subtle, individual, and systemic - and re-commit ourselves as an actively anti-racist  organization seeking justice for all people.
