If you do not know who represents you in Maryland's State Government, go to http://mdelect.net and type in your address and zip code to determine your legislators’ names.
To e-mail a legislator, go to http://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Members/District and select "House" or "Senate," then click your representative’s name.
To get a copy of a bill, go to https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Search/Legislation and type in the bill number. Don’t forget to type in HB for House Bill or SB for Senate Bill before the number. To find information without a bill number, use the dropdown menu to search “Subjects,” or use the search bar at the top right corner of the page.

To find out more information about Maryland Government, you can request a copy of Your Voice in Annapolis, which explains the legislative process. “Roster and List of Committees” details the names and addresses of the 47 Senators and 141 Delegates elected from 47 districts. These invaluable publications contain information about Committee Assignments, House and Senate Officers, seating arrangements of legislators and more. There are also several topic-specific guides published by the Department of Legislative Services entitled “Legislative Handbook Series.”
