Forensic Nurse Examiner Pediatric (FNE-P) Clinical Training - May 29, 2025

This is an in-person, FNE-P clinical training workshop hosted by UM Baltimore Washington Medical Center. This training is conducted using Forensic Training Associates as standardized care givers of a pediatric sexual assault patient.

Important Information:

• Scholarships are available for nurses who plan to work in Maryland as an FNE-A/P
• To request a scholarship, please email Mary.Wilson@umm.edu before registering for the training
• The fee for this training is $150 and due by May 23, 2025
• No refunds after May 23, 2025
• Lunch is included with the registration fee

Included in the Training:

• Skills training with Forensic Training Associates (FTAs)
• Interacting with a parent/caregiver of a pediatric sexual assault patient utilizing trauma-informed language
• Conducting a head-to-toe medical forensic evidence collection examination
• Genital exam techniques including separation and traction, and identifying genital structures
• Various patient positioning for exam
