Maryland’s sex crimes law needs updating.
SB407 increases penalties for teachers and other persons in authority who molest children under 13, and creates harsher punishments for persons in authority who are repeat offenders.
This bill helps respond to the horrible case in Anne Arundel County involving a third grade math teacher and multiple schoolgirls. Stand with our girls.
