Decades of child sexual abuse in Archdiocese of Baltimore uncovered

Apr 05th, 2023

Today the investigation into decades of sexual abuse and coverups in the Archdiocese of Baltimore was released. The years-long investigation identified more than 600 victims of child abuse and 158 Catholic priests accused of abuse.

MCASA honors the many survivors who suffered needlessly, and the bravery of those who participated in this investigation. This effort to bring survivors' experiences out of the shadows and expose insidious child sexual abuse ingrained in the Catholic church is long overdue. All survivors deserve to be heard and believed.

Thank you to the Office of the Attorney General for their commitment to seeking justice for survivors.
