MCASA condemns Rep. Akin’s remarks on rape, pregnancy

MCASA and member program TurnAround were both quoted in this Baltimore Sun piece on the anger elicited by recent the comments on rape and pregnancy made by U.S. Representative Akin. MCASA joins the countless voices across the nation and world expressing outrage at such statements. One notable person who has spoken out on the matter is playwright/performer/feminist activist Eve Ensler, who penned this open letter to Mr. Akin.
