A lawsuit filed this week in Prince George's County highlights important weaknesses and loopholes in Maryland laws concerning child sexual abuse. The lawsuit alleges that a child-victim disclosed sexual abuse to a teacher, who then failed to report the abuse.
MCASA's Executive Director, Lisae Jordan, Esq., commented on current laws regarding child sexual abuse.
