The Daily Record reported on a defamation lawsuit brought by Austin Morales, a former Salisbury University student. Morales was suspended from the university in 2014 after he was found responsible for sexual assault in a campus judicial proceeding. Morales’ lawsuit accuses several parties of defamation, including the university, university administrators, and the victim. The victim is represented by the Sexual Assault Legal Institute (SALI), which is the legal services branch of MCASA. The complete article can be read here.
