Effectively Serving Deaf Survivors of Color with Multiple Identities in Mainstream Victim Services

While the impact of sexual assault and domestic violence crosses all social, economic, and racial lines, there are barriers and concerns that are unique to Deaf survivors of color with multiple identities. Join MCASA and the Maryland Women of Color Network for this webinar with expert trainer Roberta Easton, which will help service providers understand the barriers faced by the Deaf Community and how your agency can better serve Deaf sexual assault survivors.

The Maryland Women of Color Network (Maryland WOCN) is a program of the Maryland Coalition Against Sexual Assault (MCASA).  Maryland WOCN advocates in communities of color for victims of sexual violence, recognizing that women of color have been historically underserved in the area of sexual violence prevention and response. Maryland WOCN supports survivors and service providers through education, advocacy, leadership development, and networking. Learn more about Maryland WOCN.
