Family Intimate Partner Violence Prevention Symposium

The University of Maryland Community THRIVES Lab is hosting the first annual symposium on family and intimate partner violence prevention this year. April is both sexual assault awareness month and child abuse prevention month. This symposium aligns with the University of Maryland Community THRIVES Lab's mission of conducting transformative, community-engaged health research at the intersection of family violence, early childhood, and adolescent sexual health intervention. This symposium will feature speakers from on and off campus and workshops to spur community action to prevent family and intimate partner violence.

  • Who can attend: Students, faculty, staff, community members, social workers, community health workers - anyone working in or interested in prevention of family and intimate partner violence is welcome.
