FNE-A Didactic Training

This live, virtual training is an approved Maryland Board of Nursing program and is directed to Registered Nurses who are interested in obtaining their Adult/Adolescent Forensic Nurse Examiner certification. The course will be held one day a week on consecutive Thursdays, spanning over 6 weeks, starting on May 21 and ending on June 25 (Class dates: May 21, 28 and June 4, 11, 18, 25, 2024).

Requirements:

  • Registration is required and attendees must attend ALL 6 days of the training for completion. 
  • $325 fee
  • Access to high-speed internet with a microphone and computer camera
  • Access to attend the training in a private area due to the sensitive subject matter and photos used during the case review presentations)

Training course includes:

  • FNE-A Didactic training that meets MBON's required minimum 40-hour FNE-A curriculum objectives
  • 47.25 Nursing Continuing Education hours
  • Medical Response to Adult Sexual Assault textbook valued at $110
