FNE-P Clinical Training - February 12, 2026

This is an in-person, Forensic Nurse Examiner Pediatric (FNE-P) Clinical Training Workshop, hosted by UM Baltimore Washington Medical Center. This training is conducted using Forensic Training Associates as standardized caregivers of a pediatric sexual assault patient. 

Training Logistics: 

• The fee for this training is $150
  • Payment is due by February 6, 2026
• No refunds after February 6, 2026
• Lunch is included with the registration fee
• Training Duration: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm 

The training course includes the following: 

• Skills training with Forensic Training Associates (FTAs)
• Use of trauma-informed language
• Interacting with a care giver of a pediatric sexual assault patient
• Patient positioning for exam
• Genital exam techniques including separation and traction, and identifying genital structures
• Conducting a head-to-toe medical forensic evidence collection examination
