Forensic Nurse Examiner Training Course for the Adolescent/Adult Population

This Maryland Board of Nursing approved course is a structured 42-hour didactic course to train the experienced RN to perform forensic examinations on patients age 13 years and older. Some components include self-paced learning modules that are completed outside of the classroom setting and required for course completion. There is a clinical skills component of 40 – 60 hours that must be completed in addition to the didactic coursework to submit for the Maryland FNE-A certification.

Dates: July 6th, 14th, 20th, and 28th, 2023
(All dates are required for completion certificate)

Times: 08:00am – 05:00pm 

Cost: Free to Maryland FNE Candidates (*No Show registrants will be charged $150 administrative fee)

Materials for Course:

➢ Nurse contact hours through ANCC (No partial credit given).
➢ Peer reviewed eBook texts totaling over $300 for each participant.
➢ Access to course materials though GoTo Training
➢ Priority registration to the Clinical Skills Training Course
