Lunch and Learn - Money Matters: Housing and Public Benefits

This training is part of a four part Lunch and Learn series for Money Matters. The Money Matters project focuses on the financial impact that sexual assault has on survivor's financial health, and aims to increase the financial stability and security of sexual assault survivors to support their recovery and prevent future violence. This is achieved, in part, by examining legal remedies available to support survivors' economic empowerment.

Money Matters: Housing and Public Benefits will provide an overview of available legal remedies to survivors by examining survivors' rights in housing and discussing eligibility requirements and survivor-specific exemptions for public benefits. This training is intended for all advocates and attorneys who work with survivors in the state of Maryland.
