Tackling Campus Sexual Violence in the Red Zone
The Red Zone describes the high risk time period from the start of the fall semester through Thanksgiving break when undergraduates are most likely to experience sexual assault. During this time of year, tailgating, homecoming, and other special events can be fun but potentially dangerous for our students because excessive alcohol consumption is often part of these celebrations.
Interested in making your campus a safer place? Kick off the school year by joining colleges and universities from across the state to collaborate on prevention efforts targeting high risk settings on campus, and strategize how to reduce barriers for students seeking resources. This event will feature special guest speakers and a student panel.
