About the Training:
Join us on Tuesday May 5th, 2026 from 2:00 - 3:30 pm for a free training on Prevention is Possible: Student Leaders Preventing & Responding to Sexual Violence on Campus!
Student voices and lived experiences are incredibly important to addressing campus sexual assault. Student leaders working in campus prevention and response bring expertise in effectively communicating with their fellow students and developing student-centered programming. During this training, we will hear from student panelists who will provide insight into their prevention work on Maryland college campuses and describe how they promote avenues to response for student survivors.
MCASA’s Virtual Campus Training Series is a 6-part webinar series, hosted every year from September to April. These training sessions are tailored to college and university staff, as well as community advocates and other service providers, who do sexual assault prevention and response work with college and university students. Facilitated by a combination of MCASA staff and national experts, these workshops explore important and trending topics impacting all student sexual assault survivors. You can find past Virtual Campus Training sessions on MCASA's website and YouTube Channel.
