National Organization for Victim Advocacy (NOVA): Youth Engagement Summit

Join the National Organization for Victim Advocacy (NOVA) for their Youth Engagement Summit on July 23, 2025, from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm EST, in Washington D.C.!

About the Youth Engagement Summit: This is an opportunity for youth victim service leaders and the adults who support them to participate in a dynamic and strategic conversation about the future of youth engagement in victim advocacy. This Summit will be facilitated by Youth Adovcate Leaders & NOVA's Youth Engagement Team. The Summit with explore the following questions: 

  • What's the current state of youth engagement in victim services?
  • How can we ethically engage and support young people in this work?
  • What strategies already exist and what strategies can be created to uplift the next generation of leaders in the victims' rights movement?

Attendee Information:

  • It's free to attend this Summit. 
  • NOVA is providing $50.00 gift cards to the first 30 registered youth attendees (ages 15-25) to arrive to the event and participate in the Youth Engagement Summit (limit one per person). 
  • Attendees will learn from Youth Adovcate Leaders, including Sabrina Javellana (Fmr. Vice Mayor, Hallandale Beach, FL), Ray Epstein (It's On Us), Kaylyn Ahn (GLAAD 20 Under 20), Thanh Nguyen (2024-25 Victim Advocacy Corps Student Fellow), and Abrianna Morales (Victim Advocacy Corps Program Manager). Attendees will also have the opportuntity to attend NOVA51 Keynotes and the Community Builder Reception.
