Discussing real cases and lessons learned, Deputy DA Peterson Eley will discuss from the very beginning of each sexual assault case through to trial how to best approach victims dealing with trauma and real life challenges, ensuring their voices are heard and respected, ensuring better outcomes overall, and acknowledging the challenges of ensuring a successful prosecution that keeps the community safe.
