Title IX has undergone numerous changes over the last few years. In 2020, the Department of Education issued sweeping changes to the regulations, requiring colleges and universities to overhaul their policies on sexual harassment. The Department of Education released new proposed Title IX regulations in July 2022, however, the finalization of these new regulations has been subject to multiple delays, creating uncertainty about when they will go into effect.
