MCASA’s Virtual Training Series for colleges and universities addresses sexual violence prevention and response on campus, with a focus on survivor-centered responses to reports of sexual violence and sexual assault prevention on campus.
The 5th session of the training series will provide information to college and university staff and advocates on addressing the intersections between Asexuality and sexual violence. We will reflect on and discuss common misconceptions and existing barriers that negatively affect the Asexual community. Content will include various identities that someone who is Ace identifies as, present vulnerabilities between Asexuality and sexual assault, and best practices that can be used as supportive measures for Ace survivors.
