MCASA’s Virtual Training Series for colleges and universities addresses sexual violence prevention and response on campus, with a focus on survivor-centered responses to reports of sexual violence and sexual assault prevention on campus.
Join MCASA and Professor Michele Decker, ScD, MPH and Research Technical Coordinator Paté Mahoney, MA from Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health to learn more about our work on Hotspot Mapping and Environmental Prevention Initiatives on college and university campuses. We will provide an overview of the project, research foundations for this strategy, and how campuses can utilize hotspot mapping as a tool for data collection of the physical and social environment to inform community and societal level interventions for sexual violence prevention and response. We will also share some tools and support available to practitioners interested in bringing this approach to your campus or organization.
