MCASA's Sexual Assault Victim Advocate Fundamentals Training (Online) is a 12-hour online training for advocates who work directly with sexual assault survivors in Maryland. The training covers both introductory and advanced topics to provide a foundation for best practices for advocates in the field of sexual assault services. This training will include both self-paced learning modules and live webinars facilitated by MCASA and SALI staff and guest speakers.
Registration for this training is free and open to all advocates and service providers.
MCASA is an authorized sponsor of the Maryland Board of Social Workers and can therefore provide Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for all programs and trainings hosted by MCASA. Each one-hour session is equivalent to 1.0 CEU.
