MCASA’s Virtual Campus Training Session #3: Maryland’s New Laws & Their Impact on Student Survivors of Sexual Assault

Join us on November 13th for MCASA's Virtual Campus Training Session #3: Maryland's New Laws & Their Impact on Student Survivors of Sexual Assault!

In 2025, Maryland introduced several new laws and policy changes that impact survivors of sexual assault. In this session, we will break down the most significant updates and explain how they affect student survivors and the institutions that serve them. Attendees will gain a better understanding of recent legal developments and how these changes influence services for survivors and campus policies. Attendees will walk away with actionable steps to help create safer campus and community environments.

MCASA’s Virtual Campus Training Series is a 6-part webinar series, hosted every year from September to April. These training sessions are tailored to college and university staff, as well as community advocates and other service providers, who do sexual assault prevention and response work with college and university students. Facilitated by a combination of MCASA staff and national experts, these workshops explore important and trending topics impacting student sexual assault survivors. You can find past Virtual Campus Training sessions on MCASA's website and YouTube Channel.
