Join the Maryland Human Trafficking Task Force for a free online discussion on substance use, addiction, trafficking vulnerabilities, and pathways to support and recovery!

This session will focus on the intersection of substance use, addiction, and human trafficking. The expert panel will discuss how traffickers may exploit addiction and vulnerability, the impact substance use can have on victimization and recovery, and the importance of trauma-informed, survivor-centered support services. 

Attendees will gain insight into warning signs, barriers individuals may face when seeking help, available community resources, and strategies for prevention, intervention, and long-term support. This informal event is your chance to learn, ask questions, and connect with others passionate about awareness, prevention, survivor support, and community safety.
