Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) Training

This training, hosted by Wor-Wic College, will provide information for patrol officers, community advocates, and forensic nurse examiners on best practices when interacting with sexual assault survivors. These trainings will also include information on new trends that are emerging in the field of sexual violence forensics. Numerous speakers from the local community will be speaking on how to best apply the multidisciplinary approach to the sexual assault response process. 

This year, attendees also have the opportunity to attend the Drug Facilitated Sexual Assault Training hosted by MCASA with FBI Toxicologist, Marc Lebeau. This training will take place on Thursday, December 5th from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. In order to accommodate professionals from all over Maryland, those that are interested are able to register for the free DFSA training separately.
