SALI is proud to be a founding partner of the Prince George’s County Family Justice Center (PGFJC), working together since the center opened in 2016 to provide survivors of sexual assault with coordinated, survivor centered legal support. Through weekly partner meetings and an ongoing on-site presence at the FJC, Bilingual Legal Advocates collaborate with agencies across the county to share resources, identify emerging community needs, and strengthen services for survivors. This close partnership allows for seamless referrals through the FJC’s warm handoff process, enabling SALI advocates to safely connect with survivors and provide timely legal assistance, advocacy, and referrals to additional resources. By working together, SALI and the FJC continue to build a more connected, responsive network of care that improves access to services and supports survivors throughout Prince George’s County. To help celebrate it's 10 year Anniversary, MCASA is spotlighting the FJC in this edition of Frontline.

“This year marks a significant milestone for the Prince George’s County Family Justice Center (PGCFJC) as we celebrate 10 years of service, partnership, and impact throughout our community.
Since opening its doors in 2016, the Family Justice Center has provided a safe, welcoming space where survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and elder abuse can access coordinated services and support under one roof. Through collaboration with court partners, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, law enforcement, healthcare professionals, and community advocates, the Center has helped over 25,000 individuals and families find safety, healing, and hope.
For ten years, the Family Justice Center has been a place where survivors have found safety, support, and hope. This anniversary celebrates not only how far we have come, but the partnerships, advocates, and community members who have helped transform lives throughout Prince George’s County. As we look to the future, we remain committed to ensuring that every survivor has access to the resources and support they deserve.”
